Duck was
born and raised a WV boy. He grew up with
family and friends that constantly had music playing.
Inspired at an early age to play, Duck learned the basics
from his dad and took off from there. His first bands were
really just excuses to hangout with his friends, but
eventually would turn into real gigs making real money
and free beer! His first foray into the bar scene in the area
was with a band that mostly opened the show for bigger
area bands. Metal, Classic Rock, 80's Rock, and a bit of
Punk filled the set list. Soon after that project started
slowing down, he moved to Charlotte, NC and became a
family man. Duck landed a job with the company that
he's currently with. Duck moved back to WV in the early
2000's. After getting back into playing music, he started
playing with several local musicians all over the tri-state.
He branched out into several different genres and styles
of music, adding Bluegrass and Country to his bag of
tricks. Now, he's with The Lucky Devils. No looking back!
